Location: Lincoln Office, this is not a remote position.
Qualifications
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with outside legal counsel as needed/required.
Prepare and maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
Maintain and update personnel records and human resources documents, such as benefit summary forms, employee handbooks or directories, or corrective action forms.
Administer, monitor, and audit all Company benefits programs, including health and welfare, workers’ compensation, and 401(k).
Coordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs.
Manage programs such as Affordable Care Act reporting, FMLA accommodations, 401(k) audits, I-9/E-verify compliance, and COBRA
Collaborate with the accounting department to execute all benefit payment and reimbursement processes.
Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies.
Establish and maintain relationships with carriers, service providers, and vendors to ensure efficient operation and service of human resources operations and programs.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
Assist with administrating employee recognition and appreciation activities, such as service awards, educational/training achievements, and significant life events.
Support employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and benefits and resolve any issues that may arise.
Provide management with information, guidance, or training related to onboarding, benefits, performance management, documentation of performance issues, or coaching techniques.
May lead a team of one or more HR/payroll specialists or assistants.
Performs additional duties assigned by a supervisor or a Company manager.
Must maintain the confidentiality of Company information.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations related to hiring, compensation, benefits, and employee relations to ensure the organization remains compliant.
Aptitude for problem-solving and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
Advanced knowledge of HRIS and ability to learn new technical systems when necessary.
Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities with minimal direct supervision.
Ability to independently identify problems and develop appropriate business solutions and action plans.
Must have strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work efficiently independently and as a team member.
High degree of integrity with the proven ability to maintain confidential information.
Self-discipline in time management, organization, and prioritization of tasks and projects; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in all work.
High level of interpersonal communication skills with strong customer orientation.
Excellent grammar and written communication skills.
Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the position.

Education and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration, or related field, or any combination of education, training, and experience that enables the incumbent to perform the essential job functions successfully.
In-depth knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including benefits management, employee relations, performance management, and federal and employment laws.
Five years of experience working in multiple human resources disciplines.
Salary - DOE. Benefits can include free golf at certain course locations, PTO and 401K.
Position - 8:00am-5:00pm (Monday-Friday), full-time
