Camping World is looking for an intern for the summer of 2025 to work closely with the Finance and Accounting departments. As an intern, you will learn the culture, deliverables, and projects for the Stategic FP&A team at Camping World. We are looking for someone who is driven, has experience in Finance and/or Accounting and who wants to be immersed in a real-world experience. If you are eager to learn, have a strong interest in finance and want to further develop yourself as a professional; this is the ideal role for you. This role is a full-time, paid, ten-week internship that will offer a great opportunity to work alongside professionals in your desired field.

Candidates must have the ability to work in our Chicago or Lincolnshire office on a hybrid basis (3 days in office, 2 days remote) for 10 weeks, beginning in June of 2025.

What You'll Do:

• Assist with financial modeling, analysis and other special projects

• Assist with month-end close process around accounting, reporting, and fixed assets

• Assist with intercompany billing

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting

• Assist with variance reporting and variable compensation support

• Provide field support and assist with PowerBI development

• Support with process improvements and other special projects or initiatives

What You'll Need to Have for the Role:

• In pursuit of or a recent graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a closely related field.

• A graduation date between December 2025-July 2027.

• Ability to relocate to Chicago for the summer term (June 9-August 15). Camping World does not provide relocation or housing stipends.

• Participate in Capstone Internship Project including a final presentation to Executive Leadership

• Cumulative 3.0 GPA

• Sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Office: Suite: (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Knowledge of the basic principles and practices of business, financial analysis, and accounting

• Must be able to evaluate and interpret data in statistical and narrative form

• Ability to maintain professional demeanor and displays time management

• Must be diligent, organized, and capable of thinking critically

• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills

• Strong work ethic with research and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in fast-paced environment with ability to multitask

Pay Range:

$24.00-$24.00 Hourly
