The Global Event Manager role will be a key member of the marketing team entrusted to helping build our brand presence and experiential engagement at events, tradeshows and conferences. This role will be vital to the management and support of key external events and tradeshows throughout the year primarily across North America and Europe.

This role will report to the Head of Marketing and will collaborate with marketing peers across the globe. This role requires prior international event management experience. While remote position, the ideal candidate will be situated in the USA or Canada.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage key annual events including conferences, trade shows, workshops, customer & partner events, from conception to completion.

• Assist with the planning and execution of all logistical event components including management of timelines and scheduling of meetings.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop event strategies aligned with marketing and business objectives.

• Work cross functionally to conceptualize the most innovative and best in class experiences that embody the brand

• Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, and oversee logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual requirements, and event collateral.

• Work closely with sales, product, and other supporting team members to ensure events align with brand messaging and goals, supporting lead generation and customer retention efforts.

• Evaluate event performance, measure ROI, and provide post-event analysis and reporting to optimize future events.

• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor events, and best practices to bring innovative, fun, creative and resourceful ideas to enhance event plans and experience.

• Help and support on internal events if and when required

Experience and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.

• Proven track record (2+ years) of successful event management, preferably within the B2B or technology industry.

• Demonstrated experience of event management, operations, and logistics as it applies to all matters of events from pre-planning to post event evaluation.

• Demonstrated experience working with outside agencies.

• Exceptional project management skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple high-profile events concurrently.

• Strong negotiation, budgeting, and vendor management skills.

• Superior written and oral communication skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Perform well under pressure in a highly dynamic and rapidly changing environment.

• Self- motivated, with high energy and enthusiasm

• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.

• High level of integrity and work ethic

• Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet

• Experience using event website, registration, meeting tools, applications, and virtual event platforms such as CVENT, Hopin, JiffleNow, etc.

• Flexible work schedule and ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Minimum :

65,600 USD

Maximum :

104,100 USD
