The Senior HR Program Manager will play an important role in executing on HR’s long-term vision of advancing our culture where talent thrives to create tomorrow together. This role will advance how Zebra HR plans and executes our global transformational programs and core processes to improve impact for Zebra and our people. They will work cross-functionally within HR and with global teams including: Finance, IT, Legal, and Workplace Solutions. The PM reports to the Sr. Director of HR Strategy and Transformation. They lead program management of HR transformational initiatives, strategic programs, and processes aimed at advancing our capabilities to build a culture of execution, continuous improvement, and customer first within HR. We will achieve our objectives by:

  • Improving execution capabilities to increase collaboration, visibility, and accountability

  • Optimizing and standardizing execution processes, project plans, and advancing a best-in-class toolset

  • Operationalizing and standardizing HR audit program approach leveraging PMO toolset

  • Increasing visibility of risks and managing dependencies across functions and initiatives

  • Establishing a culture of continuous improvement and implementing processes that ensure key learnings are applied to everything we do as we evolve as an organization

  • Training and enabling a change-ready organization with a focus on customer and employee experience

Responsibilities:

Our transformational initiatives are designed to strengthen our programs and cross-functional processes related to Talent, Training & Development, Rewards, Inclusion & Diversity, and Employee Experience. The Senior HR Program Manager partners with program leaders to ensure objectives are achieved through strong program management and operationalizing best practices including:

  • Develops project plans for transformational initiatives including key deliverables, timelines, and resources required to achieve success

  • Establishes clear processes and governance using PMO tools and technology to reduce administrative burden

  • Identifies interdependencies with other teams and programs. Understands the cross-functional impact of decisions and project execution

  • Drives accountability and communicates status to teams and executive management

  • Delivers reports and dashboards that provide insights into program status relevant metrics and business results

  • Proactively mitigates risks by engaging resources, addressing obstacles, and elevating issues as needed to minimize impact to the business

  • Ensures effective organizational change and communication to key stakeholders

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant equivalent years of experience

  • 5+ years of related program/project management experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or master’s degree

  • PMP certification

  • Experience in Human Resources with ability to demonstrate business expertise to add value by effectively participating in operational planning discussions, exciting assumptions, and identifying potential risks

  • Successful track record of supporting global human resources programs in a matrixed environment through strong project management skills including planning, resource allocation, and risk/issue management

  • Able to work hybrid schedule out Lincolnshire, IL or Holtsville, NY

    Key Competencies and Skills:

  • Able to lead multiple projects simultaneously to achieve organizational objectives

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and global teams, with a track record of maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders

  • Strong collaboration, excellent communication skills, self-starter, and confidence to ask questions and challenge status quo will be key to success in this role.

  • Change-agent that is process-oriented and skilled in change management

  • Proactive self-starter that is agile and thrives in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communicator and facilitator with experience presenting to senior management

  • Validated understanding of concepts with program management approaches, tools and methodologies.

  • Intermediate skills in PC based documentation tools including MS Office and Smartsheet

Salary: USD 104400.00 - USD 156600.00 Yearly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.

Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
