Northrop Grumman is seeking Project Managers for an internship opportunity. This position will be located at our Mission Systems Sector in Linthicum MD.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s ECD Program Execution and Operations team.

Roles and Responsibilities

Performs a variety of duties in the intellectual property and innovation management areas. These areas include assisting with invention disclosure management, providing input into related tool design and development, performing research connected with potential foreign patent filing requests, and teaming with other organizations to assist the IP Team with training development and delivery.

Basic Qualifications

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

  • Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2025.

  • Be majoring in or having majored in a law related program or a related field.

  • Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2025.

  • Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

  • The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher

  • Majoring in pre-law or a related field.

  • Previous internship/co-op experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).

  • Good presentation and writing/communication skills.

  • Leadership and teamwork capabilities.

  • Extracurricular activities (campus organizations, clubs, student organizations, community service)

  • Ability to effectively articulate challenges and solutions.

  • Self-motivated, willing to learn, and interested in working in a team environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite.

Intern Pay Range:

Bachelor’s: $17.25 to $31.50 per hour

Master’s: $25.25 to $39.50 per hour
