    About the Intern Program

  • 12-week program with start dates on: May 12th or 19th, or June 2nd

  • 40 hours per week

  • Must graduate between December 2025 - May 2027

Responsibilities

  • Assist International project manager(s) in planning, executing, and closing projects.

  • Help International project manager(s) to develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.

  • Monitor project progress and update project documentation.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met.

  • Conduct research and analysis to support project planning and execution.

  • Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks and issues.

  • Log and track progress on project action items.

  • Learn project methodologies used to execute projects and help ensure International project(s) are following them.

  • Learn IT project governance standards and help ensure International project(s) are following them. Learn presentation skills as you present project status, issues, and risks to relevant managers and executives.

Minimum Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. International Motors does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B or F-1 status)

Desired Skills

  • At least Sophomore standing for undergrad at the time of application.

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any IT-related degree.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Team player with strong communication, organization, leadership, and time management skills.

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

  • Familiarity with project management/collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, and Azure DevOps.

  • Previous internship or project experience in software development.

  • Able to work at least 12 weeks (starting the end of May or early June through August).

  • Previous applicable internships.

  • Self-starter.

  • High level of computer skills (Microsoft Applications and Internet).

Benefits and Compensation

  • The expected compensation hourly pay ranges for hires into our 2025 campus intern openings is $24 - $38/hour.

  • Hourly pay is based on year in school and is non-negotiable.
