Position Overview

As a Co-op at Navistar, you'll develop a working knowledge of the trucking industry in one or more of the following areas: Navistar's product lines and distribution channel; competitors’ product lines; the retail transactional environment; the operations of a truck dealership; the operations of a parts distribution center; engineering, manufacturing, materials management. Students will also develop an understanding of Navistar's infrastructure, values, policies and procedures and will gain some applicable business skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with our dynamic engineering teams on real projects

  • Gain exposure to various aspects of Navistar's engineering operations

  • Assist in design, testing, analysis, and problem-solving activities

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh perspectives

  • Learn from experienced engineers through mentorship and guidance

Minimum Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree

  • An incoming or current Kettering University student

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

  • Candidate must be an incoming or current Kettering University student
