We are currently looking for a R2R SAP Solution Designer, who will provide functional and technical expertise in identifying, analyzing, and evaluating requirements for corporate applications, including: ERP Financial systems that includes GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets/Projects, Interfaces to banking and other systems.

This position is a hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lisle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead/coordinate cross-functional teams to address the systems, issues, and strong initiative to learn new systems.

  • Create detailed functional specifications for ABAP developments (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand R2R requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.

  • Documenting and coordinating project go-live activities and performing post project go-live support.

  • Plan and manage ongoing enhancements, upgrades and support of SAP ecosystems while establishing best practices in governance, risk mitigation and audit compliance.

  • Responsible for financial controls, responding to internal/external audit requests, ensuring corporate policy and SOX compliance in all phases of the business processes.

  • Develop Queries, SQL extracts, and updating queries as required by Business Users.

  • Trains, guides and mentors other professionals or colleagues with less experience.

  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel

  • Design and implement systems/applications solutions.

  • Lead functional teams or projects

  • Serve as a best practice/quality resource.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

  • At least 12 years of experience analyzing, designing, evaluating, modifying, testing and implementing enterprise-wide systems or business experience using ERP applications

  • At least 2 years lead experience

OR

  • Master's degree

  • At least 8 years of experience analyzing, designing, evaluating, modifying, testing and implementing enterprise-wide systems or business experience using ERP applications

  • At least 2 years lead experience

OR

  • At least 14 years of experience analyzing, designing, evaluating, modifying, testing and implementing enterprise-wide systems or business experience using ERP applications

  • At least 2 years lead experience

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills

  • Experience in an SAP FICO environment demonstrating highly competent abilities in standard software development life cycle management and project management techniques and methodologies.

  • Experience supporting a Finance/Accounting organization.

  • SAP FI/CO SME with hands-on configuration experience in SAP GL, AP, AR, FA, Bank Accounting, FSCM (Treasury), CCA, PCA, Material ledger, COPA modules and concur.

  • Experience in designing and defining Organizational structure, and the chart of accounts structure within SAP by transforming business requirements into system specifications to meet current and future requirements.

  • Strong knowledge in SAP Group Reporting, Fixed assets and Project system processes and configurations

  • Strong knowledge of Banking Interfaces, such as Electronic Bank Statements (EBS), Outgoing payments (ACH, WIRE, Check), Positive pay files, Incoming Payments, Cash applications. Credit Card processes.

  • Understanding of multi ledger processes in terms of financial functionalities

  • Recent hands-on experience assessing S/4 New GL, Fixed Assets and other new functionalities and capabilities.

  • Experience with Project Settlement to Fixed Assets, configuration and design of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Networks, Activities, Scheduling, Resource Related Billing, CATS, Earned Value Management (EVM)

  • Experience and knowledge of FICO month end closing activities

  • Knowledgeable about GAAP/FCC/IFRS accounting. Experience with Intercompany transactions, eliminations, and financial consolidations.

  • Solid understanding and experience of integrating SAP FICO module with other SAP modules like MM, PP, SD, PS

  • Experience in SAP S4 Hana and as a R2R lead is preferred.

  • Advanced experience with designing and implementing systems/applications solutions.

  • Demonstrated analytical skills, Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills.

  • Experience with system management processes, business requirements gathering, solution design and configuration, and user acceptance testing.

  • Experience creating business process diagrams including business process procedures as necessary.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to effectively design scalable solutions to meet business needs and system configuration.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

  • Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

  • Full-lifecycle SAP implementation experience with Hybrid and Agile methodology framework and related business processes

  • Strong knowledge of Waterfall, Agile and hybrid methodologies, Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and changing priorities.

  • Ability to embrace change and assist others in accepting and moving forward with new systems and processes.

  • Work collaboratively with multiple teams within Business and IT organizations. Ability to multi-task on multiple projects
