DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Kenvue is currently recruiting for: Quality Control Scientist I-2 nd shift

This position reports to QC Supervisor II and is based at Lititz, PA

Role reports to: QC Supervisor II

Location: Lititz PA

What you will do The QC Scientist is responsible for performs physical and chemical testing of raw materials, in-process and finished product (including stability) to assess conformance to applicable standards. Adheres to Company policies, governmental and regulatory requirements and maintains adequate lab supplies.

Duties & Responsibilities * Performs laboratory solution preparation. Performs physical testing of finished products, in process, raw materials and stability samples, in accordance with company test methods. * Performs standardization of solutions and instruments as required and records results in official logs. * Records all results in appropriate media (LIMS, Logbooks, Testing Worksheets, Template Logbooks). Maintains records in accordance with cGMP. * Embraces and demonstrates the company's values on an on-going basis. * Performs other duties as assigned and directed.

What we are looking for Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in a science related field. * Knowledge of and/or experience with lab instrumentation/equipment such as pH meter, viscometer, FTIR, HPLC, IC, and G * Knowledge of Compendia such as USP, NF, EP and FCC * Computer skills with utilization of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Work, Excel) * Self-Motivated * Able to work within a team and individually * Knowledge of GMP's and good documentation practices

Desired Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Chemistry is preferred
