Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in land surveying

   

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Requires 3 years of experience supervising a survey field crew performing boundary and topographic surveys, construction stakeout, monitoring and as-built surveys
• Must have the ability to manage a crew of surveyors in the field
• Must have the ability to operate advanced equipment such as robotic total stations, data collectors and RTK GPS
• Must have excellent math skills and be able to perform survey calculations in the field
• Must have ability to interpret design plans
• Must have the ability to follow instructions and a positive attitude
• Must possess leadership and mentoring skills
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, walk for extended periods, work in all weather conditions
• Must perform other duties as assigned
• A valid current driver's license

Performance Expectations:

• Comply with all BLS policies and procedures
• Accurately record and report daily forms per project requirements
• Communicate effectively with client, contractor, staff, and supervisor
• Proactively resolve problems at the lowest level
• Adhere to project scope, schedule, and budget
• Review work for completeness and accuracy prior to submitting
• Understand OSHA Safety Standards and follow them at all times
• Work with your team to maximize your production and accuracy

• Maintain all required certifications and participate in training courses as required

   

Full Time: 40-50 hours per week
