Lockheed Martin Configuration/Baseline Analyst in Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas

Description: The Configuration Analyst (CA) reports directly to the TSSC System Integration Manager and is responsible for the configuration management/version control of software and courseware on the C-130J MATS Program. The CA’s primary responsibility is to build and maintain Maintenance and Aircrew Training Device software baselines and Radar/Visual databases. The CA provides Configuration Management support to the Design Change and Instructional Change Request tracking system in Jira and provides status to customers, partners, key decision makers, and other stakeholders.

Specific duties include:

Obsolescence Forecasting & Tracking: Develops processes and procedures to analyze and detect HW & SW obsolescence on JMTAS ATDs and MTDs. Works closely with OEMs and suppliers to forecast obsolescence in onboard systems as well as spares. Tracks ongoing obsolescence issues for customer awareness and action.

Workflow Management: Tracks Design, Courseware and Process changes through workflow ensuring timely completion and compliance with contracts and quality standards. Develops/delivers metrics to management and customers in order to support data-driven decisions. Develops/implements processes across the enterprise focusing on synergy, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Configuration Management: Ensures proper application of Design Changes (DC) for USAF and NAVAIR on over 45 Aircrew Training Devices (ATD) at 10 sites worldwide in order to sustain a standardized fleet of devices. Maintains traceability to customer requirements, and configuration/version control for all products. Develops processes ensuring compliance with CFR Part 60/AS9100, as well as customer transparency/trust/satisfaction. Provides version control/traceability for USAF Aircrew Courseware.

Training Load Development/Build: Analyzes system configuration to determine applicability of DCs. Coordinates with Engineering to develop tailored, compatible training loads on a quarterly basis for each site/device. Delivers/installs software upgrades, facilitates testing and customer acceptance. Maintains and installs current, standardized Visual and Radar Databases across entire fleet of ATDs.

Basic Qualifications:

Ability to develop documentation, instructions, and presentations required.

Should be familiar with military and industry configuration management standards.

Requires understanding of technical principles, theories and concepts, including the interrelated disciplines of Configuration Management and Change Management.

International Travel is required.

Must be capable of attaining a SECRET clearance and Security + certification

Desired Skills:

Working knowledge of Jira desired.

Familiarity with C-130J simulator systems preferred.

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, required and Visio desired.

Knowledge of tracking software such as Jira or Master Control, and source code/version control management in GitHub/Perforce operations desired.

Ability to develop software scripts for Windows/Unix environments.

Languages could consist of Unix Shell Script, Linux, MS Visual Basic, MS Visual C++ and others.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
