Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation Cyber Security Intern Summer 2025 in Little Rock, Arkansas

Description

This is a Temporary Position during Summer 2025

  • Involvement with research projects in conjunction with local university and corporate partnerships

  • Development of new tools and modifying existing tools including but not limited to applications, scripts and macros using common programming languages.

  • Conduct remote and on-site evaluations, implementations, and documentation of cyber security posture.

  • Assist in Cyber Security operations as needed including but not limited to assessments, reporting, documentation, and incident response.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

  • Completed coursework or experience in networking and operating systems.

  • Technologically adept and advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.

  • Exceptional analytical, mathematical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Extremely detailed and accuracy oriented.

  • Exceptional writing skills

  • Good communication skills

  • Self-starter and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
