Summary:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. — Remote (MUST RESIDE IN ARKANSAS)
Oversee the Pediatrics Biostatistics Program associated with the development and deployment of research databases and supporting tools, and assign time allocation for project deadlines accordingly. Serve as the point of contact for DOP/AC/ACRI investigators requesting database and research informatics development from the Biostatistics Program for their research protocols.

Description
Prioritize and manage requests from investigators requesting database and informatics development and support.
Manage the life cycle of informatics projects including requirements definition and analysis, design, develop project deliverables, test, and implement system for research, quality improvement, and operational support requests from investigators.
Devise and implement policies and standard operating procedures with attention to data security and efficiency of data handling and management.
Serve as administrator of the Research Data Capture (RedCAP) system. Function as a member of the international consortium and assist with local system upgrades and improvements.
Identify efficient ways to organize, store and analyze data with attention to security and confidentiality.
Retrieve data for approved research, quality improvement, and operational support projects primarily through the medical record repository and the Pediatric Health Information System (PHIS).
Provide continuing service request support of statbase projects, including access, security, maintenance, enhancements and daily use of database systems by investigators.
Develop and conduct training for investigators with a focus on best practices to enhance data efficiency, collection and security. Prepare users for data collection and RedCap project creation.
Process raw datasets and deliver analytical datasets to ACRI Biostatistics core.
Design, implement and oversee quality control procedures for all data analysis projects within the Biostatistics Program.
Perform requirements definition and analysis, create design, develop project deliverables, test, and implement system for research, quality improvement, and operational support requests from Arkansas Children’s investigators. Assist with reports and extraction, when needed.
Retrieve data for approved research, quality improvement, and operational support projects, primarily through the medical record repository and the Pediatric Health Information System (PHIS).
Understand and follow security protocols and protected health information standards.
Identify efficient ways to organize, store and analyze data with attention to security and confidentiality.
Work to continuously improve processes and functionality.
Process raw datasets and deliver analytical datasets to ACRI Biostatistics Core, as needed.
Perform other duties as prioritized and assigned.
