Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Medical Receptionist in Little Rock, Arkansas. The role involves managing front desk operations in a medical facility. This position is integral to ensuring smooth operations in the healthcare setting and providing excellent service to patients and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Answering incoming calls and addressing patient queries efficiently.

• Scheduling patient appointments and managing the appointment system.

• Verifying patient's medical insurance and coordinating with insurance companies.

• Handling prior authorizations for procedures and medications.

• Performing general receptionist duties such as greeting and assisting visitors, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and maintaining the reception area.

• Liaising with medical professionals to ensure patient needs are met.

• Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.

• Utilizing medical software to update and maintain patient records. Requirements • Proficiency in performing medical receptionist duties is mandatory

• Experience in medical insurance verification is required

• Knowledge of patient scheduling is a must

• Familiarity with prior authorizations is crucial

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed

• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines is essential

• Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on detail orientation

• Proficient in using medical software for scheduling and record keeping

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

• Must demonstrate professionalism and a customer-focused attitude at all times

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as needed.
