This posting is for a Program Control Buyer – ICE Engine Units. In this position….

  • Manage Purchasing delivery of Unit Milestone Deliverables on time and with quality – Commodity Planning, Target Setting, Target Alignment, Sourcing On Time, Cost Delivery, PO/TO Issuance

  • Support delivery of Contribution Cost & Investment Targets for program achievements through J#1 with timely & high-quality financials

  • Ensure efficient material cost delivery (Job#1 material cost equal to or better than Job Last)

What you’ll do…

  • Lead Supply Chain Program Reviews weekly and Cross Functional Team Reviews as needed to ensure on time sourcing to block timing

  • Support team of 4 meetings for New Tooled End Items (NTEI)

  • Support weekly Program Planning meetings and CPAT meetings

  • Lead Desktop studies as required to confirm capacity of parts/carryover

  • Lead ad hoc studies supporting global sourcing, make vs. buy scenarios, price/volume assessments, and capacity constraints

  • Monitor and deliver USMCA compliance and regulatory requirements

  • Support alignment with Cost Estimating on OCE’s for new contract negotiations

  • Support alignment with Supplier Technical Assistance to ensure supplier sites identified enablers are in place for robust eAPQP/Schedule A kick-off

  • Support cost and capacity studies to ensure funding and supplier readiness for volume uplifts

You'll have...

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field.

  • 1-3 years of experience in a purchasing role supporting a manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to build positive relationships cross-functionally.

  • Ability to prioritize, work independently and advance multiple assignments concurrently.

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills

  • Strong communication skills to develop/deliver effective senior leadership presentations.

  • Broad business attitude with understanding of new model sourcing impact to annual TVM delivery.

  • Resourceful and motivated to find and implement solutions.

Even better, you may have...

  • Production Buying, Program Control/Execution experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of GPDS timing, deliverables, and impact to downstream and cross-functional outputs.

  • Knowledge of the iERP/Ariba system.

This position is a range of salary grades 6-8 .
