Administrating and organizing all types ofprojects, a Senior Consultant will ensure allprojects are designed around client needs, projects are completed on time and within budget, and all work meets quality standards and expectations. Responsibilities include regular reporting to executive staff, preparing comprehensive action plans which include resources needs, timeframes, and budgets, client consultation, scheduling, field services delivery,projectquality control, data entry/management, cost tracking, projectdocument management, responding to financial queries, and conducting regular business development with a diverse client base. Excellent time management, written and oral communication skills and the ability to confidently interact with clients, subcontractors and internal team members are essential to this role. The Senior Consultant reports to the Vice President of Operations.

Annual Pay Range: commensurate with experience

ACTIVITIES/TASKS/SCOPE

  • Coordinateprojectmanagement activities, resources, equipment, and information;
  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management;
  • Analyze risks and opportunities;
  • Lead proposal preparation;
  • Monitorprojectprogressand handle any issues that arise;
  • Act as the point of contact onproject(s) and communicateprojectstatus to all participants;
  • Work with project managers and clients to address challenges;
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met by conducting quality assurance reviews;
  • Execute industrial hygiene/environmental/business continuity consultations, assessments, and reporting; and,
  • Act as a project manager in both divisional projects and as staff augmentation to other departments.
  • Conduct a variety of business development related activities including conference attendance, leading client meetings, aid in the contracting process, manage key client relationships, and work cooperatively with the Sales and Marketing team to grow CTEH as a leader in the disaster recovery industry.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Masters degree or greater in Emergency Management, Public Policy or similar field (required)
  • 10+ years of experience in state-managed, federally-funded disaster recovery programs or similar relevant field (required)
  • 5+ years of senior or executive level management and/or reporting (required)
  • Business development, though leadership, and/or key client management experience (required)
  • Proficient computer and data management skills in a Windows-based platform with advance Micro-soft office suite experience (required)
  • Familiarity with Carbon (propriety software)

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Current, unrestricted driver\'s license
  • Certification(s) such as PMP, CIH, CSP, or other relevant advanced certification (strongly desired)
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within a matrix reporting structure;
  • Ability to gather information, prepare reports, and communicate effectively;
  • Ability to learn, understand, and use proprietary, web-based construction management tools;
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet conflicting deadlines;
  • Possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with careful attention to detail;
  • Possess a high degree of personal initiative and responsibility for work assigned;
  • Ability to understand and follow written and v rbal directions;
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
