JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Manage a broad range of fleet support services at a system level including fleet telemetry, fleet invoice processing and vendor payments, AP barcoding and scanning process, fuel card management along with ongoing fuel card audit requirements, fleet budgeting, light duty maintenance program, fleet application support and testing, vehicle titles, licensing and renewals, benchmarking, service and supply contracts, fleet work management, warranty recoveries, fleet employee time records, miscellaneous reporting and accounting support, records retention, investment recovery, etc.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all Fleet computer applications and support systems including Maximo.

  • Manage Fleet’s defect and enhancement life cycle for Maximo.

  • Manage the system fleet telemetry.

  • Manage the annual processing and payment of 20K fleet related invoices.

  • Provide audit support to internal tax groups.

  • Direct the AP barcoding and scanning process for Fleet Management including IT support.

  • Manage the dispatching of 25K work tickets supporting 6,700 fleet assets system wide.

  • Manage the system wide fuel card program that has over $20M in annual billings.

  • Manage fuel card audit requirements consisting of transaction to telemetry interface and request process.

  • Responsible for the Records Retention process for Fleet Management.

  • Ensure recovery for all warranty work and other billings related to vendor delays or errors.

  • Oversees the issue and renewal of all fleet related contracts for services and supplies.

  • Implement Fleet Management’s Safety Plan to achieve zero accidents.

  • Responsible for monitoring Fleet budgets and providing reporting and accounting support as needed.

  • Administer the departments shared drive, documentum tool, meeting planning and coordination.

  • Direct the licensing, titling, and registration renewals for approximately 5,000 on road assets.

  • Improve the safety, dependability, and economy of Entergy’s fleet through improvement initiatives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education required of the position

  • College degree or equivalent work experience. Master's Degree Preferred

Minimum experience required of the position

  • 5-7 years in Management, Customer Service, Contracts Management, fleet and transportation government regulations and reporting. Computer skills training and experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Management Experience

  • Customer Service Experience

  • Contracts Management Experience

  • Experience in fleet and transportation government regulations and reporting

  • Technical understanding of Fleet operations.

Any certificates, licenses, etc. required for the position

  • Technical School Automotive Certificate preferred.
