What We Are Looking For

We are currently seeking full-time entry-level Biomedical Engineer in the Virtual Surgical Planning department. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing planning files for virtual surgical planning meetings. This will include viewing medical imaging modalities, simulating surgical procedures and preparing cephalometric analysis.

Candidates will also be responsible for the coordination and organization of products in preparation for the final inspection process. This will include buffing, cleaning and modifying of surgical splints, initial inspection of 3D printed patient specific medical devices and collection and organization of data.

What You Will Do

Interface directly with healthcare professionals, staff, and sales representatives to perform surgical planning via phone, emails and web meetings Use CAD software to manipulate 3D files and combine multiple datasets for surgical planning. Manage multiple priorities and communicate closely with a multidisciplinary team. Maintain detailed records of each case in accordance with the company's Quality Management System. View patient CT and MRI studies in DICOM format and identify anatomies of interest. Perform inspection of 3D printed surgical guides for quality and clinical effectiveness. Use hand tools to buff, clean, or modify the surgical guides as needed. What You Will Bring BS degree in Biomedical, Mechanical or other relevant technical field Experience: Entry-level candidate with relevant skills Experience collaborating or interacting with medical professionals Ability to build and maintain relationships with key customers

The 3D Systems Advantage! Salary Range: $61,000 - $72,000 annually (salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data) In addition to a salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus based upon company performance. 3D Systems offers a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage, company-paid short-term and long-term disability insurance, and company-paid basic life insurance.
