The Senior Manager, Business Solutions assumes a pivotal role, offering comprehensive leadership, strategic guidance, and adept management support for corporate products suites such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and MES (Manufacturing Execution System). Specializing in the manufacturing environment, the Senior Manager, Business Solutions builds trusted relationships with business stakeholders, leveraging a nuanced understanding of industry-specific processes.

With experience in executing large-scale complex transformation programs, stabilizing production, and providing ongoing support, this individual brings a valuable skill set that drives operational excellence and value-driven delivery. The Senior Manager will lead technical projects that streamline, automate, and scale our business applications and serve as a thought-leader contributing to programs that assess and implement enterprise-scale technology platforms. Proficient in standardization and change management practices, the Senior Manager is instrumental in fostering adaptability and driving positive transformations within the organization. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on experience, contributing to the overall success of business initiatives across a complex landscape of diverse manufacturing environments.

The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading and mentoring the Business Applications Manager and team, managing executive stakeholders, and driving meaningful improvements through an agile development methodology.

Responsibilities

Experienced Senior Leader Partner with application, infrastructure, integration & platform teams to bridge the gap between various teams and projects to make sure that solutions are consistent with the target architecture and are cost-effective and rationalized to meet the business goals Build and lead a high-performing team, through coaching, mentoring and training, which fosters a collaborative and innovative working environment Make staffing decisions based of business needs and individual performance Collaborates with both internal and external teams & resources, ensuring effective support and alignment with organizational goals Assist in the ongoing development of organization-wide systems standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices Trusted Advisor to Business Partners Handle escalations from the business and production teams, giving a high level of service to support our customers and production operations Communicates "big picture" to business and IT stakeholders at all levels of the organization to achieve alignment with target state architecture and roadmap by domain or by value-stream Act as organizer and facilitator for workshops, forums, interviews, and other business interactions leveraging familiar tools and techniques for status assessments, solutioning, visualization and implementation of various business problems Understand technology trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models Enterprise Program Management Lead architecture and technical related activities for the ERP and MES assessments Define the technology vision and strategy for current/future ERP and MES products, encompassing a multi-year roadmap to guide the evolution of the platforms Manage defined workstreams independently while proactively considering interdependency with other areas

Qualifications

Requirements: B.S. in Information Technology or equivalent work experience 10+ years of experience in ERP solutions (Oracle Cloud, PeopleSoft, Workday etc...) 7+ years of leading and managing teams Experience with MES solutions (Siemens, Plex, Infor for Manufacturing, etc...), a plu Leadership and Personal Productivity Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously Ability to successfully plan, organize, prioritize, execute and delegate work; responding to changing needs and balance competing priorities Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills; ability to engage clients and respond effectively to questions Able to multitask and manage multiple important tasks simultaneously A track record of engaging with CxOs and key decision-makers, actively contributing to their Finance and Digital transformation journey in the cloud Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high quality work, both personally and at a team level A strong understanding of manufacturing processes A working understanding of SOX and PCI regulations, a plus Experience working in a highly-regulated or highly secure business, a plus Human and Organizational Change Management
