Lockheed Martin Responsible Systems Engineer - Hypersonic Weapon System in Littleton, Colorado

As a Weapon System Responsible Systems Engineer (RSE), you will be support the full lifecycle of the CPS Hypersonics Weapon System including design, integration, ground test, flight test, and fielding phases. Your role, in concert with of a large interdisciplinary team, is to ensure the Weapon System meets Top Level Requirements, has robust Verification, Validation, Integration, and Test plans. You will be a critical technical leader stewarding the system through each of these phases.

In this role you will:
· Support current and future Weapon System design iterations
· Approve Verification, Validation, Integration, and Test Plans and Roadmaps
· Coordinate with electrical integrators, software integrators, mechanical integrators, and other technical disciplines to integrate subsystems into a full Weapon System, in preparation for ground test, flight test, and fielded systems
· Be accountable for the Weapon System's overall health and performance
Coordinate with Chief Engineers, Systems Engineering Leads, and sub-system RSEs for the Missile, Launcher, Weapon Control, Software subsystems in execution of all development phases

Basic Qualifications:
· Experienced technical leader in Systems Engineering or another engineering field
· Experience integrating or troubleshooting Electrical or Hardware-Software systems
· Experience with Requirements Verification and Validation
· Experience with Integration and Test
· Eligibility to obtain TS/SCI security clearance (no clearance required prior to start); US Citizenship required
Desired Skills:
· Missile and/or weapon system development experience
· Previous experience as a Responsible Systems Engineer
· Experience across design, integration, test, verification, and validation development phases
· Experience using Cameo, DOORS, Automation Framework or other Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related discipline
· 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $118,100 - $226,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
