Job Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Support RF Engineers in automating processes and enabling tools for optimization of the DISH 5G network

  • Support the RF Optimization Team to develop and implement RAN metrics and KPIs

  • Provide direction and support for DISH market drive testing, including vendor management and tool roadmaps.

  • Foster partnerships to drive innovation and automation in network design, deployment, and optimization

  • Enable data analytics and AI/ML models for the network monitoring, operations and assurance

  • Automate repetitive tasks through scripting

Skills, Experience and Requirements

As a successful Staff RF Automation Engineer,

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical discipline (computer science or electrical engineering degree preferred)

  • 7+ years of experience working within the wireless industry

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Wireless network architecture technologies, concepts, and industry standards

  • Experience in RF Design or Optimization in a multi-technology network environment

  • Skilled in RF optimization, network automation, and optimization processes and tools

  • Knowhow in RAN Performance Metrics

  • Proficiency in database platforms

  • Experience coding in Python

  • Familiarity with AI/ML models and data science projects

  • Mastery with RAN optimization tools

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $110,110.00/Year - $180,900.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
