VCA Animal Hospitals Veterinary Technician Supervisor - RVT in Littleton, Colorado
VCA Dakota Ridge is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our leadership team as Technician Supervisor.
Hourly wage: $26.00 - $29.00 depending on experience in the veterinary industry.

Must have the motivation and ability to both work and train others in patient care techniques including basic pet care, surgical assisting, monitoring anesthesia, managing controlled substances, writing staff schedules, and fostering an environment of continued development and learning.
Job Summary:
Under policy direction from the Hospital Manager or Field Manager with support of and input from the Medical Director, the Technical Supervisor performs a wide range of difficult to complex administrative activities related to hospitals providing quality patient care and excellent client service, management of finances and accounting, marketing and promotion of services, staffing and personnel operations, and discretionary activities, that serve to support effective business operations.

• Background in managing service oriented operations.

• Ability to take information obtained from clients, staff, and other sources, discern that which is credible and assess the hospital and its operation objectively.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks at once, and deal with high levels of stress in an environment of changing priorities.
• Must have strong medical skills.
Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma.
• Certified or Registered Technician status or equivalent practice experience of at least 5 years.
