HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Collections Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and collecting payments for open and past-due invoices, ensuring timely and accurate cash flow while maintaining strong relationships with clients.

This is a temporary assignment expected to last 3 months with the possibility of extension.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • Monitor and manage open accounts receivable, identifying and prioritizing overdue invoices for collection.

  • Contact clients via phone, email, and written correspondence to follow up on outstanding payments.

  • Resolve any discrepancies or disputes regarding invoices.

  • Document all collection activities and maintain accurate records of client communications in the system.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and customer service, to address client issues and facilitate timely payment.

  • Analyze aging reports and provide insights on collection trends and potential risks to management.

  • Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize bad debt.

  • Prepare regular reports on collections performance and status of outstanding invoices.

    WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Proven experience in collections, accounts receivable, or finance-related roles.

  • Strong customer service, communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with accounting software.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • A positive attitude and a customer-focused mindset.

    Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

  • 2-4 years experiences of collections experience.
