Actalent Electrical Engineer in Liverpool, New York

Entry Level Electrical Engineer Opportunity!!

Job Description

Collaborate in an Agile environment with other engineering disciplines and program personnel to perform engineering research, design, development, modification, and evaluation in support of complex systems and their components, equipment, sub-systems, and networks. Conduct trade studies, perform dynamic analyses, allocate and trace requirements, develop algorithms, author test procedures, verify requirements, integrate and test, perform root cause analysis, resolve defects, interface with vendors and customers, and interact with engineers of other disciplines to deliver quality products.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).

  • Experience with Analog/Digital Circuits.

  • Hands-on testing and troubleshooting skills.

  • Familiarity with common laboratory engineering tools, including logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, and digital multi-meters.

  • An Active US Security Clearance (Secret or higher) OR the ability to obtain an Interim Clearance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Matlab.

  • Experience with integration testing.

  • Experience using oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.

Work Environment

Located in Syracuse, NY. The campus is a large facility with a majority of the site having secured areas. Approximately 1600 total people are located in Syracuse, with over 700 within Engineering. The Systems Engineering group consists of approximately 180 people, divided into Requirements, System Integration, System Test, and Special Systems groups. Work schedule is a 9/80 with relatively flexible work hours. The team supports a variety of programs and works on cutting-edge technology alongside some of the best engineers in the industry. This is a full-time long-term consultant opportunity with the option for a 4-day work week. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00
