Alta Equipment Group is seeking a full-time Business System Specialist for our Livonia, MI headquarters office. A Business System Specialist will work with subject matter experts and end users to ensure that business system is meeting transactional expectations. This position requires good communication skills and technical troubleshooting abilities in order to analyze and resolve business system problems as well as provide documentation where required. It requires a thorough, detail oriented and highly motivated team player with a positive attitude to serve as a liaison and enhance communication between Business System Support and Business Operations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide call support and ensure that business system issues/opportunities are properly documented and prioritized in ticketing system
Manage, track and provide solutions to reported issues. Will seek supervisor direction and guidance as needed
Develop documentation for identified business scenarios, processes and procedures in collaboration system
Gain an in-depth knowledge about business system applications and their interactions in order to properly identify and analyze problems
Coordinate meetings or trainings between the department and end users
Works with system administrator to support authorizations and system configuration requirements
Assist in the review of job logs and take appropriate action to resolve issues
Qualifications
Prefer a recent college graduate with a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major work in Business Administration or Information Systems
Strong communication and customer service skills
Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
Ability to stay organized and pay close attention to detail
