Rastelli’s is looking to hire an E-commerce Lead to join our growing team in Swedesboro, New Jersey.

Job Description: The E-commerce Lead will oversee activities to ensure that production meets or exceeds required case and order throughput while maintaining company quality, safety and process standards.

Job Functions:

  • The E-commerce Lead will be responsible for developing an expert knowledge of the production process and all associated equipment, a key aspect of ensuring smooth operations.

  • Be able to perform daily checks and reports to ensure the highest quality of products produced within Good Manufacturing Practices as they apply to the production of the product.

  • Maintain Shift performance and quality documentation.

  • Cultivate a safety culture where unsafe acts are not tolerated, and employees and management have a common goal of zero injuries.

  • Work closely with the E-commerce manager to ensure operations are running at the highest levels of efficiency.

  • Ensure the assigned shift is compliant with food safety and sanitation requirements. Provide support in the monthly food safety and sanitation self-inspections and implementation of any corrective actions as necessary.

  • Report and troubleshoot operations issues.

  • Work with safety/security to ensure compliance with company goals.

  • Monitor KPIs and help develop plans to bring assigned shifts in line with Operational Excellence goals.

  • Participate periodically in the daily production meetings to remain informed and ensure that the assigned shift operations activities are aligned.

  • Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.

  • Train line employees on rules and regulations, safety, GMP’s, SOP, and job expectations.

  • Perform other duties assigned.

  • Manage first-shift associates and forklift operators.

Skills/Experience:

  • Meat, Packaging, or process industry background is a plus.

  • Knowledge of E-Commerce and or WMS beneficial

  • Proficiency with basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and other technical software packages as needed.

  • Ability to work on weekends with flexibility as needed for the business.

  • Bi-Lingual English/Spanish

Expectations:

  • Perform duties as workload necessitates

  • Meet departmental productivity standards.

  • Communicates regularly with manager about job-related issues.

  • Able to work additional shifts and fulfill additional assignments.

Physical Requirements:

  • The job requires workers to lift up to 50lbs.

  • Must be able to Step, climb, balance, squat, kneel, bend, and reach above shoulders as needed.

  • Must be able to work in cold/wet environments.

This is a 1st shift position starting at 4am, Monday thru Thursday. Open to flexible schedule during High Season
