Our Environmental Division is looking for a Data Acquisition Product Manager to help us meet these goals both now and into the future.

    What You’ll Work On

    The Product Manager for data acquisition products in the environmental division, is responsible for driving the development and enhancement of our cutting-edge data acquisition solutions. Leading the efforts to create the next-generation client experience and toolsets by deeply understanding client needs and delivering integrated solutions. This role is pivotal in defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, while ensuring alignment with client needs and market trends.

    You’ll Support Your Team by Performing the Following Key Tasks

  • Define and articulate the vision for the next generation of data acquisition platforms, focusing on seamless hardware and software integration.

  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with company goals, market demands, and client expectations.

  • Identify new opportunities for innovation and differentiation in the data acquisition space.

  • Manage the product lifecycle of the data acquisition portfolio for the environmental division, including existing products and products to be launched in the future.

  • Collaborate closely with hardware engineering and software teams to develop and enhance data acquisition products that integrate seamlessly with our software offerings.

  • Lead cross-functional teams through the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch to retirement, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

  • Oversee the design and implementation of user-friendly interfaces and workflows that enhance the client experience.

  • Engage with customers, sales, stakeholders, and partners to gather feedback, understand pain points, and identify areas for improvement.

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings to inform product decisions.

  • Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on customer impact, business goals, and resource availability.

  • Manage product releases, coordinating with marketing, sales, and support teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption.

  • Establish product and feature pricing in accordance with corporate guidelines.

  • Monitor product performance and client satisfaction, making data-driven decisions to iterate and improve the product portfolio.

  • Work closely with the executive team to communicate product vision, strategy, and progress.

  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, positioning, and messaging for the data acquisition platform.

  • Provide regular updates and reports on product performance, market trends, and customer feedback to internal stakeholders.

  • Conduct win/loss analysis.

  • Stay informed about the latest developments in hardware and software technologies, data acquisition systems, and client experience trends.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging experimentation, learning, and adaptation to keep the product at the forefront of the industry.

  • Drive initiatives that enhance the overall client experience, including ease of use, reliability, and integration capabilities.

    What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in a hardware engineering field.

  • Master’s degree in product management or business administration is preferred.

  • 5+ years in product management with data acquisition experience is preferred.

  • Understanding of, and implementation experience with product management principles.

  • Use of qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and help make product decisions.

  • Customer focused and desire to learn customer applications and technologies

  • Solid working ability to use MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and other office productivity applications.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills: writing, oral, team-building, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to manage relationships, deliverables, and expectations cross-functionally.

    Work Environment

    General office environment. Domestic and international travel up to 25% on customer visits, workshops, scientific conferences, trade shows, and/or training.

    Physical Requirements

    Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds over short distances as needed in the course of fulfilling job responsibilities. Sitting, bending, twisting, consistent with office and field environments. Ability to walk on unpaved loose slopes of up to 25%.
