COOKS UNDERGROUND Sous Chef in LOGAN, Utah
The Sous Chefs at cooks underground work a station just as a chef de partie and have
all the same responsibilities. In addition to these tasks the sous chef is also in charge of the
kitchen in lue of the chef de cuisine. They should have an understanding of the CDC position
and be able to assist or take the reins in giving instruction to the team. They will help the chef
de cuisine keep track of what goes on in the kitchen and help to ensure problems are
addressed. Sous chefs are a key Mentor for members of the staff and will assist in training and
quality control.
