PeopleReady Garage Door Installer in Lombard, Illinois

PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking skilled and experienced garage door installers for Lombard, IL and the surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will be able to diagnose, repair and service as well, as install various type of overhead doors. The experienced carpenter for the position will need to have a valid driver's license which is clean of points. Must be able to work individually, Must be able to start immediately. Note: The hourly rate for this position is $30 - $35 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Job Responsibilities:

  • Install, diagnose and repair garage doors and other associated components on work order

  • Responsible for work site safety

  • Review work order for accuracy and completeness

  • Drive to work site with company vehicle and tools

  • Be able to speak with customers respectfully

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Have at least 5 years of experience

  • Exceptional work ethic

  • Able to comfortably lift 60 lbs

  • Have a mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills

  • Demonstrate good customer service skills

  • Have a good driving record and possess an active driver's license

  • Able to pass any requested/required background and drug test

  • Experienced with power and hand tools

  • Able to read measuring tapes

  • Able to work using a ladder

  • Able to work in all types of weather and temperatures
