London Correctional Institution is a lower-level security state facility that has been in operation for nearly 100 years housing adult male offenders who are actively participating in educational, job-oriented, and family-focused programming to prepare them for a successful release back into our community.  New hires start at $23.12/ hour plus shift differential & pre-shift meeting incentive pay PLUS they have access to State of Ohio benefits to include -- PERS Retirement System, medical/ dental/ vision coverage, paid leave, flexible spending, tuition assistance, and regular pay increases -- just to name a few!  All new Correction Officers complete 9+ weeks of paid training to ensure you feel confident in your new role.
