Job Title: Production Associate
$21-22/hr start
Job Description
Production associates (downstream technicians) will be responsible for unloading drainage pipes of all sizes, trimming plastic excess, cutting to specifications, and coiling into rolls. Candidates must be comfortable lifting 30-40 pounds routinely and will team lift above that weight. They must also be comfortable maneuvering heavier parts up to 100 pounds. The company produces drainage pipes of various sizes used to drain rainwater under bridges, ditches, farmland, etc.
Responsibilities
Unload drainage pipes of various sizes.
Trim excess plastic from pipes.
Cut pipes to specified lengths.
Coil pipes into rolls.
Lift up to 40 pounds routinely and team lift heavier items.
Maneuver heavier parts up to 100 pounds.
Essential Skills
General labor/production line/machine operation experience.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and maneuver up to 100 pounds.
Experience with hand and power tools (training provided for Sawzall).
Packaging experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous machine operation experience is preferred.
Experience with general labor, hand tools, and machine operation.

Work Environment
The work environment is non-climate controlled, making it cold in the summer and hot in the winter. The facility is fairly organized with a brand-new production line installed, though it can become cramped if a lot of scrap plastic is produced. The team consists of 60 employees.
