Sierra Nevada Corporation Business Process Analyst- Data Integrity in Lone Tree, Colorado
Do you have a keen eye for detail? We are looking for you! As a Business Process Analyst, you'll plan, perform and implement process improvement initiatives, diagram and evaluate existing processes, as well as organize, lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams. You'll develop metrics that provide data for process measurement, and identify indicators for future improvement opportunities. You'll be responsible for identifying and leveraging business continuous improvement opportunities and related actions in order to mitigate risks, and improve on compliance and efficiencies. You'll Identify gaps in current business processes, assess the efficiencies of operations, and analyze internal controls for weaknesses.
The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Responsibilities:
Data Monitoring and Analysis: Regularly review and analyze data related to aircraft modifications to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, or inaccuracies, using analytical tools to track data trends and anomalies.
System and Process Oversight: Ensure that all systems and processes related to aircraft modifications are functioning correctly and efficiently, conducting audits and assessments to verify compliance with data integrity standards.
Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of data integrity processes and standards, providing training and support to team members and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to data integrity protocols.
Metrics Development and Tracking: Assist in implementing new dashboards, and track key performance metrics related to data integrity, working alongside the BI team to create reports and dashboards to visualize data integrity performance across programs.
Life Cycle Data Management: Oversee the lifecycle flow of data from initial modification requests through implementation and post-modification review, ensuring that data remains accurate and accessible at all stages.
Cross-Program Coordination: Collaborate with various program teams to align data integrity efforts and share best practices, facilitating communication and coordination across different programs to maintain consistent data standards.
Issue Resolution: Identify and address data integrity issues promptly, working with relevant stakeholders to investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data integrity processes and systems, staying updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to data management.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders to convey data integrity issues and solutions, creating clear and concise reports and documentation to support decision-making and transparency.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Qualifications We Prefer:
Ability to analyze business systems and/or business processes to identify user needs, document requirements, and address process improvements
Ability to obtain a Scrum Master certification
Strong knowledge of requirements documentation tools such as Visio, Word, Excel, Jira, and/or Azure DevOps
Experience with data mapping and documentation of system integration metadata and touchpoints necessary for implementation
Basic experience with writing SQL and understanding the basics of table querying for use in documenting data requirements
Strong knowledge of project planning and execution, using tools such as MS Project
Understanding of analysis and software development lifecycle methodologies
Strong presentation, facilitation, collaboration, negotiation and influencing skills
Estimated Starting Salary Range: $71,338.47 - $98,090.40. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
