About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marketing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong business acumen and passion for content development and overall support of our Cochlearâ„¢ recipients. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote new recipient onboarding, support the current/future state of the Cochlear Family program, enhance program visibility and adoption by patients and professionals, while also supporting other recipient engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to achieve company objectives and KPI's for areas of responsibility including Recipient Onboarding experience and support of the Cochlear Family program cultivating a value driven, holistic, omnichannel UX for recipients. Ultimately, increasing regional adoption and recipient engagement.
  • Demonstrated expertise in crafting compelling marketing materials - from brochures to social media content- and steering them through the full approval process. Skilled in budget.
  • Perform market research to discern trends and patient preferences, meeting satisfaction benchmarks and guiding personalization and strategic marketing.
  • Strong project management skills are required as this role will collaborate with cross-functional teams. Must ensure consistency in experience and brand voice while ensuring open communication, flexibility, clear direction, and alignment. Analyze performance and ROI to optimize marketing efforts and drive continuous improvement.
  • This position is responsible for orchestrating the planning and execution of our dynamic recipient-centered event, which are designed to adapt seamlessly between in-person and virtual formats as required.
  • Serve as the primary representative for our department in identified enterprise initiatives, advocating for our needs, and addressing challenges. Support additional projects and work as assigned to engage, re-engage recipients, and encourage empowerment through education and self-support or other duties assigned by manager.

Key Requirements

To add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to meet and demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities in your application and at interview:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or similar field;
  • 5-7+ Years of experience (marketing, journalism)
  • Requires marketing experience including developing customer facing communications and marketing plans with minimal reliance on internal creative services, external agency resources or copywriters

  • Excellent computer skills with experience in various software packages, including Microsoft Suite and web-based programs

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize current workload and projects for team and self
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills including the ability to communicate and present to Senior levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with employees across all levels of the organization and in a variety of settings: one-on one, small and large groups, and among diverse styles
  • Provides timely and helpful information to team and cross-functional business partners across the organization
  • Ability to ensure clarity of expectations for individuals and team and hold team members accountable for expectations
  • Inspires self and team to tackle problems and challenge the status quo to deliver creative solutions
  • Strong ability to interact effectively and proactively with all le els of the organization to develop positive, professional relationships across the business that are based on trust and open communication
  • Create an environment of trust with business partners and demonstrate resilience when experiencing setbacks
  • Solid leadership skills and ability to influence others.
  • Experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce preferred
  • Ability to travel approximately 15% of time

  • Target Salary Range/Rate: $108,000 - $118,000 based upon experience, as well as an annual bonus opportunity of 15% of base salary
