Required Skills

Position Summary

Main point of contact to provide prompt and quality computer hardware and software services for users requiring technical expertise. Install computer software products, modify/repair hardware and resolve information technology related challenges. Manage software licensing and inventory as well as hardware inventory.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Manage helpdesk calls and tickets for technical support in a complete and timely manner

  • Provide remote support via desktop sharing software for users not located in the local office

  • Maintain and utilize Microsoft InTune for imaging new PCs

  • Deploy new iPhones/iPads

  • Responsible for basic operating principles of data communications and computer hardware and software

  • Adapt, integrate, and modify existing programs for use with existing information technology

  • Recommend process improvements to ensure software and hardware reliability, scalability, security, integrity, and performance

  • Assess potential risks and technical challenges for opportunities to improve

  • Maintain confidentiality and security of company documents and customers

  • Maintain and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment in conference/training rooms

    Education/Experience

    Required

  • Two to five years of experience in the IT field

  • Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 Suite

  • Troubleshooting and maintenance of iOS devices (iPhone/iPad)

  • Troubleshooting and maintenance of audio-visual equipment

    Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT related field and/or IT certification(s)

  • PC management/imaging technology (i.e. Microsoft InTune, etc.)

  • Windows Server/Active Directory

  • Basic knowledge of VMware (Able to log into vCenter and work with virtual machines, etc.)

  • Basic networking knowledge (Able to hook up firewalls, switches, wireless access points, etc.)
