The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Manager- Global Trade Compliance to join their team. This person will lead the integration of Boeing's export compliance and licensing tools with hardware and technical data exporting systems.

This position can be based in any of the following locations Hazelwood, MO; Berkeley, MO; Arlington, VA; Mesa, AZ; Ridley Park, PA; Seattle, WA; or Long Beach, CA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees and mid-level managers providing guidance, authorization documentation, coordination, processes, procedures and internal controls to facilitate the import/export of company products and services

  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives

  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience working with import and export regulations

  • 5+ years of experience managing or leading people or teams

  • 5+ years of experience in developing global trade strategies

  • 5+ years of experience in compliance matters, corrective actions, and monitoring

  • 10+ years of experience in the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment and an eagerness to build relationships

  • Experience using Lean and/or simplifying and improving business processes

  • Experience collaborating internally and externally to achieve business objectives

  • Experience applying ITAR and EAR compliance requirements

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $155,550-$225,400
