Description
SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Director, plans, advocates, implements, and coordinates a proactive array of comprehensive, individualized services for patients and performs administrative work in support of the program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
Supervise the Recovery Support Staff (RSS) supervisors and document all supervisions in Relias,
Oversee and assign duties to Recovery Support Staff.
Train and onboard new RSS staff.
Develop the weekly RSS schedule and ensure coverage for all shifts.
On call after hours to RSS for any emergencies.
Conduct monthly RSS staff meetings.
Develop, with the Program Director, the RSS staff meeting agendas and attend all case conferences weekly.
Assist with quality assurance quarterly reports (i.e., fire drills, in-service trainings, safety inspections, satisfaction surveys, building and vehicle reports, etc.).
Serve as a member of the Case Management team for the review of prospective patients, for case conferences and for discharge planning.
Cover RSS duties as needed and assist with daily tasks as needed.

REQUIRED EDUCATION
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Bachelor’s degree a plus
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
CASAC preferred
Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor – Trainee (CASAC) in good standing
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum two years’ experience working in a substance use disorder treatment setting, including working with patients with co-occurring disorders.
Experience with case management and knowledge of and/or experience substance abuse, mental health, health, vocational/educational/training, and housing systems.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- This job operates in an indoor office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
