Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

The role requires an Embedded Electrical Engineer who can perform hardware design and layout, as well as embedded coding (C/C++). We are looking for candidates excited about improving engineering and product development practices, have a broad interest in software development, and possess a positive and fun attitude, making them great team members. Only candidates with at least a few years of post-university and post-internship experience will be considered. This is a standard role based in the Longmont office with no remote work option. The individual might travel internationally once a year, but this is not a shared role between different sites.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Project Engineer on new and sustaining development projects, ensuring all team activities required for a successful product launch are completed on schedule.

  • Prepare documentation for new products and engineering procedures.

  • Develop test plans and reports, as well as design documentation to support production and vendors.

  • Perform circuit design, PCB design and layout, and schematic capture.

  • Develop products in the field of vacuum sensors and vacuum measurement technology.

  • Engage in electronics development for microcontrollers, embedded systems, analog sensor circuits, and power supplies.

  • Participate in system architecture, create circuit concepts, dimensioning, select components, support PCB layout, commission and test prototypes, and document results.

  • Support products throughout their entire lifecycle, from concept to series production to product discontinuation.

  • Assist sales, application, and product management in technical questions.

Work Environment

The position is based onsite in Longmont, working 5 days a week. The company offers a small team environment where individuals can take initiative and continue learning. The company is expanding its building to increase the scope of manufacturing, providing ample room to grow. The role offers the opportunity to perform a breadth of technical tasks rather than being a cog in a wheel. The individual may travel once a year to the Lichtenstein office.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00

I attached a copy of the benefits package. This doesn’t mention that for medical premiums, the company contributes 75-80% of the total premiums and we try to bare as much as possible of the premium burden.

The profit sharing bonus is usually about a 10% target of base salary. Sometimes its more, sometimes its less. But 10% is the target. It is prorated for an employee’s first year, but after that is qualified to get the full base salary bonus.
