Job Title: Production Life Cycle Manager

Compensation: $90,608.80 to $115,000 annually (DOE)

Manpower is partnering with a leading defense contractor in Longmont, CO, to find an experienced Production Life Cycle Manager. About the Role:

The Production Life Cycle Manager will serve as the primary interface between customers and internal teams, managing the entire product lifecycle. Responsibilities include planning, procurement, addressing product and component shortages, and optimizing supply chain operations. Your expertise in electronics and technical knowledge of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) will drive operational success, enhance customer satisfaction, and support continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for customers, providing updates, managing expectations, and addressing concerns related to product availability, quality, and delivery.

  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept through end-of-life (EOL) management, ensuring coordination across cross-functional teams.

  • Shortage & EOL Management: Manage product/component shortages and develop strategies for EOL products to maintain production continuity.

  • Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with purchasing and planning teams to develop effective sourcing strategies and optimize inventory levels.

  • ERP/MRP System Utilization: Utilize ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Epicor, SAP, Oracle) to manage inventory, track production, and provide accurate reporting.

  • New Business Development: Identify and drive new business opportunities within existing customer accounts, focusing on quality, cost, and delivery.

  • Leadership & Team Coordination: Lead the Customer Focus Team (CFT) to ensure alignment with production goals and foster a collaborative environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.

  • 3+ years of production management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics or contract manufacturing.

  • Technical knowledge of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs).

  • Understanding of contract terms and ability to manage contract-related tasks.

  • Experience with purchasing and planning in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems such as Epicor, SAP, or Oracle.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

  • Proven ability to manage complex product lines for high-level customers.

  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
