Job Title: Production Planner

Overview:

In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination of supply and demand, driving on-time delivery and supporting customer requirements. You will play a key role in maintaining material alignment, tracking production timelines, and delivering high-quality products on schedule. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage product delivery commitments in partnership with customers and program managers.

  • Oversee supply and demand planning for specific customers or customer groups.

  • Track material alignment and production statuses to ensure work orders meet deadlines.

  • Lead and coordinate weekly product delivery meetings to ensure clear communication and alignment.

  • Manage the sales order process and initiate demand change requests as needed.

  • Analyze demand patterns and suggest planning and manufacturing strategies for efficiency.

  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to production and adjust plans based on material availability.

  • Perform impact analyses for material, WIP (work in progress), and finished goods inventory.

  • Report ongoing delivery status and coordinate expedited material procurement when necessary.

  • Provide recommendations on demand changes due to material constraints or capacity challenges.

  • Participate in cross-functional audits and contribute to corporate 6S objectives.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in production planning.

  • 3-5 years of production planning experience, ideally in contract electronics manufacturing.
