Position: Physician – Gastroenterology

Location: Longview, Washington.

Duties: Diagnose and treat diseases of digestive organs including the stomach, bowels, liver, and gallbladder. Treat conditions such as abdominal pain, ulcers, diarrhea, cancer and jaundice and perform complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using endoscopes to visualize internal organs. Examine patients using up-to-date medical instruments and gastroenterological diagnostic equipment. Order or execute various tests, analyses, and diagnostic procedures to provide information on the patient's condition. Analyze reports and finding of tests and examinations and diagnose conditions. Administer or prescribe treatments and drugs. Prepare and complete records, work with team members for the efficient and orderly flow of patients.

Requirements:

  1. M.D. or D.O. or foreign equivalent degree

  2. Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited U.S. Internal Medicine Residency.

  3. Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited U.S. Gastroenterology Fellowship.

  4. Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Washington (or ability to obtain unrestricted license to practice medicine in Washington prior to hire)

  5. Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the ABIM or AOBIM.

  6. Board Certified in Gastroenterology by the ABIM or the AOBIM or Board Eligible (If Board Eligible, must achieve Board Certification within five (5) years of completion of fellowship and applicants must agree to do so.

Employment will be contingent upon passing background check, reference check and drug test and proof of compliance with any PeaceHealth COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement Policies in effect at time of application.

Must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States. All experience, skills and requirements may be gained concurrently.

Wage Range: $414,896.04 to $589,137 per year.
