Job Title: Sheet Metal Fabricator $40/hr. - $45/hr.

Job Description

Hours: 7a - 330p Monday - Friday, very few Saturdays. 90%-98% in the shop putting together duct work off of drawings from Foreman/PM's.

• Selecting gauge and type of sheet metal according to the product specs

• Laying out and marking dimensions and reference lines on material to develop and trace patterns of product or parts, or using templates

• Setting up and operating fabricating machines, such as: shears, brakes, presses, forming rolls, and routers to cut, bend, block and form, or straighten materials

• Shaping metal materials over anvil, blocks, or other forms

• Trimming, filing, grinding, buffing, and smoothing surfaces

• Welding, soldering, bolting, riveting, screwing, clipping, caulking, or bonding component parts to assemble products

• Operating a computerized Iowa Precision Coil Line

• Operating a computerized table

• Commercial field install when needed 0% - 10% of the time per week/month

Hard Skills

• fabrication of duct work / sheet metal

• ability to read blueprints of duct work

• install experience preferred (of duct work)

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lorain, Ohio.
