Robert Half is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper for our client's CPA firm based in Los Alamitos, California. This role offers the opportunity to manage all aspects of bookkeeping for small to medium-sized businesses, providing vital assistance to their financial team operations.

Your responsibilities: • Oversee the full accounting cycle and use QuickBooks and other accounting systems to record transactions and prepare financial reports. • Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and billing. • Manage financial documentation, maintain organized records, and aid in preparing financial statements. • Use Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Excel and Outlook, to update financial transactions. • Collaborate with the team to improve financial processes, be willing to assist in other accounting functions as needed. • Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients and vendors. • Adhere to all financial reporting deadlines.

Qualifications: • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred). • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. • Proficient in QuickBooks and Excel. • Ability to manage accounts payable, receivables, and perform bank reconciliation procedures. • Possess excellent communication, organizational and attention to detail skills.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook

• Experience in executing Accounting Functions

• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Experience in handling Billing Functions

• Basic understanding of Bookkeeping

• Prior experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper is considered an asset

• Expertise in Full Charge Bookkeeping and Bookkeeping principles

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Demonstrable problem-solving skills and analytical abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
