Your Role

Member of Regional Airfreight Pricing team - with a primary focus of managing area pricing for global and local client Request for Quotes. Providing, collecting and validating airfreight rates for tenders and spot quotes, especially with respect to Northeast efforts.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage the West coast's air logistics pricing team

• Manage and maintain air logistics rate, trucking rate and handling costs databases and market intelligence within the West Coast area in conjunction with area + national air logistics management and gateway management

• Follow-up with relevant Global key account manager and Branch managers on proposals - participation in “post-mortem process” when required

• Support National Air logistics activities as necessary and directed by management.

• Create initial pricing templates with Business unite pricing teams, with regular reviews and individual tender pricing analysis

• Prepare structured, professional tenders that are tailored to the specific requirements of the customer and their respective industry

• Manage and quote all larger spot quote requests within the West coast area and liaise with the other areas where needed

• Track activity, win and loss of global/national pricing requests (tender + spot).

• Guide Implementation Team on proper rate instalment of successful quotations

• Report to the Area Air Logistics Manager

Your Skills and Experiences

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

• 3+ years of Air logistics experience

• 2+ years of management experience

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
