Location : 1120 W Washington Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90015

Schedule : Monday to Friday-varied shift starting as early as 7:30am (8-hour shifts) schedule will be determined by the business

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Greets patients and directs them to appropriate departments

  • Answers multiple phone lines, directs calls, and takes messages as needed

  • Verifies patient information and insurance eligibility; collects payments

  • Directs patients to complete forms and processes patient-related paperwork

  • Informs provider’s assistant of no-shows and cancellations

  • Makes follow-up appointments for patients and calls patients to confirm appointments

  • Contacts “bumped” patients and reschedules appointments as appropriate

  • May help with ordering of office supplies

  • Performs various front-office duties in a fast-paced, customer-oriented clinical environment as assigned

  • Performs other duties as assigned by business

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED (or higher)

  • 3+ months of experience working in a customer service-based role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience working in a customer service role

  • 1+ years of working in a healthcare office setting

  • Bilingual in Spanish

California Residents Only: The hourly range for California residents is $16.00 to $27.31 per hour.
