NOTE: This is a Los Angeles, California based position. LENAX Does Not Pay for Relocation or Travel Expenses for Interviews or if selected for a position. Candidates selected to move forward in the interview process must be available to interview within 24-48 hours’ notification. This is not a fully-remote position. A “hybrid” schedule is available upon approval. Candidates selected to move forward in the process must be able to report to the project site(s) located within L. A. County. POSITION OVERVIEW

LENAX is looking for qualified candidates for two (2) openings for a BIM Administrator II, to join an aviation client's Planning & Design Division’s Technology & Innovation Unit. The selected candidates will join a team of 40+ planners, architects, engineers, and other technical professionals, to plan and design the next “wave” of capital investments for a large-scale airport CIP program, including airfield improvements, terminal improvements, infrastructure improvements and more!

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • The duties for this Job include, Opening and evaluating 3D models in either Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks and ACC, Administration of Autodesk BIM360 Design environment, Administration of ACC project environment, field verification of model objects in the form of attribute data, and general file organization and administration.

  • Maintaining digital library of BIM models on ACC or another platform.

  • Implementing new BIM tools, select innovative solutions for automating repetitive tasks or introduce new plug-ins for existing programs.

  • Ensuring BIM models remain up to date throughout the course of a project.

  • Verifying that exported data from the BIM is accurate and complete.

  • Participating in meetings with project teams to ensure everyone understands how to adhere to the BIM process.

  • Reviewing and commenting BIM submittals.

HARDWARE / SOFTWARE SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Must have Autodesk Revit, Civil3D, BIM 360 Design, Navisworks, ACC, 0365 SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency and experience.

EDUCATION / TRAINING

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Equivalent

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS / DESIGNATIONS

Holding a CM-BIM – Certificate of Management – Building Information Modeling, a plus

ASSIGNMENT-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS / NOTES

  • May assume other duties as required/needed.

  • May be required to work beyond regular shift hours as needed.

  • May be required to work various shifts as needed.

  • This position offers a hybrid/telework schedule. Telework - Monday and Friday. Onsite - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, per client's "Pilot Telework Policy." Must be able to report to the worksite on Mondays and Fridays if needed.

Work Location:

The position is a full-time, regular, exempt position, which will report to the designated Los Angeles area project offices. (Reporting location and instructions will be provided upon hire.)

Telework Option:

Telework is available, but approval is at the discretion of the Owner/Client and Department leadership. Note: This is not a fully-remote position. Telework, if afforded, is offered as a benefit, and is not required. For those who are authorized to telework, it is assumed that they have the necessary workstation items available to them at home. A complete workstation is provided, at the office, only.

Position Status / Compensation:

This is a full-time, regular, “Exempt” position, with Lenax Construction Services, Inc. as the employer, and performing consultative services, as a BIM Administrator II, at the Owner/Client’s worksite.

The compensation for this position is $45 - $48.50/hr. ($93,600.00 - $100,880.00/yr.). The assigned rate will be based upon experience, directly applicable experience, industry experience, skills, education, and other certifications, licensure and training.
