Position Overview:

The Claims and Agreement Processor is responsible for processing child care provider attendance records, payment requests, and agreements in compliance with the agency's policies and funding regulations. This role ensures timely and accurate payment to providers, supports communication with case managers, and helps child care providers understand the requirements of their agreements. The position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage and analyze provider information within a database system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process attendance records and provider payment requests following department quality standards and funder payment regulations.

  • Communicate with case managers to resolve payment authorization issues and pending claims.

  • Provide verbal and written communication to child care providers about provider agreement processes, including explaining requirements.

  • Assess and determine child care provider qualifications; enter provider details into the database system.

  • Review and analyze provider and parent information to ensure compliance with agreement requirements and organizational policies.

  • Respond to inquiries from providers, parents, and internal departments regarding provider agreements.

  • Prepare and distribute communications to providers, Case Management, and Resource & Referral teams regarding the status of agreements and supporting documentation.

  • Complete verification checklists for each agreement and submit for review and approval.

  • Maintain provider databases and perform data entry, including updates for address changes, special need rates, and Trustline registration.

    Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (required).

An associate's or bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (preferred).
