    Position overview Position title: Faculty Positions in Ophthalmology

    Salary range: The posted UC salary scales (https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/compensation/index.html) set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5/Scale 7. The salary range for this position is $142,100 - $429,000. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan (https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf), which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

    Position description

The Stein Eye Institute, Stein Eye Centers-UCLA, Doheny Eye Institute, and Doheny Eye Centers-UCLA and the UCLA Department of Ophthalmology invite applications for comprehensive ophthalmologists with or without subspecialty training to serve as faculty in the David Geffen School of Medicine, with primary clinical activities to take place at the eye centers that are serviced by the Department of Ophthalmology.

Applicants should be dedicated to teaching, exemplary patient care, professional activities, creative contributions to administrative, academic or research activities, and service to the University and to the profession. Candidates must be eligible for board certification and immediately eligible for an unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of California.
