UCLA Health Education Coordinator - Neurology in Los Angeles, California

Description

The

Education Coordinator partners with faculty in the operational and financial management of the

program(s) and/or initiative(s) to ensure an optimal training environment for learners. You will be responsible for a wide range of programmatic activities including but not

limited to designing, conducting, promoting, evaluating and supporting an education program(s) in compliance with organizational objectives and requirements. You will support learners in areas such as curriculum,

teaching and learning activities, scheduling, core competencies, assessment and

evaluations. You will coordinate all activities associated with ongoing administration of the education program(s) and/or initiative(s).

Salary Range: $68800 - $141000/Annually

QualificationsRequired:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field and/or equivalent experience/training.

  • 2-3 years experience coordinating an educational program(s) in an academic medical center.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and web based applications.

  • Presents and expresses ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience, whether oral or written.  Actively listens to what others are saying to achieve understanding.  Shares information with others and facilitates the open exchange of ideas and information. 

  • Open to change and new information; adapts behavior and work methods in response to new information, changing conditions, or unexpected obstacles. Acclimates quickly to new situations warranting attention and resolution.

  • Demonstrated commitment to knowledge development/professional development.

  • High degree of initiative and independent judgement.

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated attention to detail. Ability to complete work and meet established deadlines in an accurate and timely manner, and to prioritize short and competing deadlines.

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to interact collegially with faculty, staff, learners and outside contacts to carry out the mission of the educational program(s) or initiative(s).

  • Manages confidential information discreetly and responsibly.

Preferred:

  • Comprehensive understanding of UCLA policy and procedures
