Description

We are looking for an experienced and committed Compliance Analyst to join our team. The selected candidate will serve as a key member of our Compliance Team, reporting up to our Compliance Officer. The primary role will involve reviewing budget modifications and change requests from subrecipients. The successful candidate will have remarkable analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail and a sound knowledge of the non-profit sector's rules and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, evaluate and process budget modifications and change requests from subrecipients, ensuring they comply with established regulations and guidelines.

  • Coordinate the approval of these requests with the Compliance Officer, providing input for the decision-making process.

  • Provide technical assistance and training to sub-recipients, seamlessly using your expertise to resolve any compliance related issues.

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with sub-recipients, effectively communicating information about changes in regulations, policies and procedures.

  • Act as a backup to the Compliance Analyst whenever necessary, by taking up their responsibilities efficiently and effectively.

  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as delegated by the members of the Compliance Team or the Compliance Officer.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within non-profit organizations.

  • Excellent knowledge of legal requirements and procedures.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills.

  • Strong understanding of non-profit budgeting and financial regulations.

  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and various other compliance software.
