Well-known boutique trial firm has an immediate opening for a legal assistant! This legal assistant will work in a dynamic environment providing legal support services within the field of Employment Law. The role involves managing case details, maintaining accurate records, and preparing for trial procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation and formatting of legal documents.

• Ensure accurate management and updating of customer credit records using software tools such as Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS).

• Handle calendaring tasks and manage schedules using Google Calendar.

• Conduct state and federal court filings efficiently.

• Prepare discovery shells and contribute to trial preparation.

• Maintain effective communication with clients and build strong client relations.

• Administer claim processes and perform necessary billing functions.

• Utilize Case Management Software and CompuLaw for effective case handling.

• Contribute to the personal injury plaintiff's cases and handle related tasks.

• Employ legal assistant skills to ensure efficient and smooth operations.

Requirements

• Must possess at least 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant.

• Proficient in Aderant, Adobe Acrobat and Case Management Software.

• Familiarity with CompuLaw, Billing Functions, Calendar Management, Claim Administration, and Client Relations.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Should have experience in Personal Injury Plaintiffs and Employment Law.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive legal information.
